Tyler's Creative Writing Award

At my kids' school they have a creative writing contest every spring. The kids write either a short story or essay on a topic of their choice. Everyone in 3rd through 6th grade are required to participate, then each teacher picks the best from their class. The top kids are invited to an awards ceremony where everyone receives a certificate, and the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category and grade are announced. Tyler loves creative writing and is constantly writing. He chose to write an essay called Conquering The Mountains, about riding all the mountain rides at Disneyland. We were so excited for him when he received an invitation to the awards ceremony. He didn't place in the top 3, but we were so proud of the good work he did! Congratulations Tyler!
